Recruiting four of his patients, physiologist and degenerate gambler Bradley Simon schemes to rob a jewelry store to pay off his debt. Two of them die accidently and another is killed by the fourth as they all have the same nefarious plan to screw Bradley.

When his father is sent to prison for a killing he swears was self-defense, a runaway teenager disappears with a valuable guitar—and lands in a dangerous world where protecting the people he loves could cost him everything.
